| | Mother Hubbard’s Restaurant Serving our community for over 30 Years |
Mother Hubbard's is a local tradition since 1978, family owned and operated for 30 years. Just come inside and find again that lost small town feel. A place where if you visit more then once, you'll get the feeling that "everyone knows your name", or at least your face. A step back from the impersonal service and pre-made items served up at far too many places. Here home style cooking meets the feel of a small town, served up with generous portions to provide our neighbors and customers a satisfying experience. Our extensive breakfast menu has a wide range of omelets from the trendy Californian and the light Montecito to the basic Denver with a few stops in between. Old fashioned basics like bacon and eggs with biscuits and gravy are there to be found as well as a few surprises. Lunches include a wide array of sandwiches from staples such as a BLT intermixed with quality wraps and specialty sandwiches on cibatta bread.
As part of the community we use local products whenever possible, our eggs are from a local producer who raises the chickens in a cage-free enviornment without the use of drugs or hormones. Most of our produce is from Synergy Organic Farm in Goleta and local Valley farmers including Classic Organic Farm; and the herbs come from our yard.
We are working in partnership with a couple local ranchers to provide us with locally raised beef and our goal this year is to continue to expand the use of local, organic and sustainable foods.
